About
Kris Sanford?

In 2009, Kris broke his neck in a rollover accident resulting in quadriplegia. He has been determined to use his situation to create positive change within our world community ever since. In 2014, Kris rode his hand cycle from Idaho Falls, Idaho to Huntington Beach, California, 1,040 miles, to break the world record. However, he is more proud he was able to use the experience as a way to raise $25,000 for therapy for spinal cord injury patients that cannot afford it.

Kris is a young and inspiring speaker whose message impacts positive change. He has been speaking for six years to children and adolescence, corporations, associations, sports teams and more. He uses his unique life experience of a near death experience that resulted in quadriplegia and individual client research to deliver a presentation that is fun, easy to understand and unforgettable. Creativity is Kris’ biggest asset when preparing material. He integrates functional, practical concepts with impactful stories to help drive the message home. Whether it’s learning how to thrive amongst change, goal setting and achieving or the dynamics of teamwork, Kris is extremely passionate, practiced and well researched on everything he presents.

Today Kris lives in Clinton Utah with his service dog. He graduated from Weber State University with a degree in communications and is a member of the National Speakers Association. Kayaking, skiing, biking and bobsledding are activities Kris enjoys during his free time.
